Eu. Sou. Grato. Pelo. Espírito. Santo. em. Nossas. Vidas.

Hey everybody!!

Well, it has been another good week here in Brazil. First off, the girl who was going to get baptized ended up getting sick, so we had to move the baptism to this week. I hope it will all work out for this Friday!

Lately, we have been working a lot more with the members here.  I can see a difference in the work that we do with the help of the members. We have been visiting more less active families and searching for the members that have fallen away from God's path.

Yesterday, we visited a family and we have been teaching two ladies. They weren't able to go to church this week, so we went to their house and started talking to them.  I started talking to them about the Book of Mormon and they both know it's true.  I invited them to be baptized and they both accepted.  We just have to help them to stop drinking coffee. While we were talking with them I sure could feel the Spirit with us!

Yesterday, we were able to watch a devotional with Elder Pinho from the Quorum Of The Seventy. He talked about the value each person has to the Lord.  And that we need to discover the value we all have. He said we need to have "Faith to Accept", "Faith to Act",  "Faith to Give it Your Best", and "Faith to Endure to the End". Sure am glad for the leaders  we have in the church.

This week we are starting an English class in the church to see if we can get a few new people to teach. That's about it for the week. Thanks for all. Talk to you guys later.

Com Amor,
Elder Nickerson

The title says, I am thankful for the Holy Spirit in our Lives.

Wherefore, whoso believeth in God might with surety hope for a better world, yea, even a place at the right hand of God, which hope cometh of faith, taketh an anchor to the souls of men, which would make them sure and steadfast, always abounding in good works, being led to glorify God.  Ether 12:4
