I. WILL. BE. HOME. SOON.

Hey everybody.!
Well, its hard to believe this will be my last normal P-Day on the mission.  Not sure if I will be able to email next week, so this may be my last email while I am on the mission. Sad that I am saying this already.  I am having mixed feelings about it all.

Time sure has flown by very very fast for me. Sure am grateful for these two years that I have had to serve our Savior.  I never imagined how great a mission could be. Sure have enjoyed my time here in Brasil.  For all the people I have been able to meet and the things I have been able to learn. I have made memories that I will never forget and met people that will always remember.

Sure am grateful for this time that I have had here. Grateful for the gospel in our lives and the things that we know. Can't believe it has already ended. Thanks for all the support you all gave to me. I will be getting home on the 26th.

This week went well for us. First off, we were able to have a baptism on Saturday, and I was able to baptize him. That was coo to be able to baptise one more time on the mission. On Sunday we did a split and I was able to visit an area that I passed through ealier in my mission. We were able to attend sacrament meeting with the members one more time there.

This week we have another baptism marked so I am praying everything will work out for him to be baptised. Well, that's about it for the week. Not sure if I can email next week, if not see you guys in person soon. :)

Thanks for all. Talk to you guys later.

CRAZY. WEEK.

Hey everybody!!

Well this has been one of the busiest weeks in my mission so far. First off,  last week we left Monday night and went to Salvador, got there at 5 o'clock in the morning, had a pday with the leaders of the mission, and visited a bunch of history places in Salvador.

After that we visited my companion's old area. And that night we slept in the assistant's house. The next day we had a meeting with all the leaders in our president's house. It went very well!
After the meeting, we did a split with the assistants in Salvador. When we got done we were heading to the bus station and while we were walking in the street, right in front of us, two guys stopped on a motorcyle and pulled a gun on two ladies that were walking in the street and robbed them.

When we saw this we turned around and ran away, so they wouldn't rob us! After they got done robbing the ladies, nothing happened and we were able to get away without being robbed.

This week here in Petrolina an elder's house that is in another neighborhood got robbed, and they stole almost everything from their house. There has been a lot of robbing lately. Another two elders were walking in the street and also got robbed in another neighborhood here close by.   But everybody is fine.

This week we also had our Zone Meeting and my companion and I gave the training. It went well. This week was very busy for us. In this area we have a lot of things that need to be done, and next week we should have another baptism.

That's about it for the week.  Hope you all are doing well. Thanks for all. See you guys in a few weeks...

NEVER. SEEN. WEEKS. PASS. FASTER.

Hey everybody!!

Well, I have never seen weeks pass faster then these last few, Time is passing very fast for me and the end is arriving very soon...not sure how I am feeling about it all. Sure has passed very fast!

This week has been very busy for us here in Petrolina. First off, we had conference with our mission in Feira de Santana and had to travel all night to get there.  When we got there we had a meeting all day long, but the meeting went very well and I was able to  give my last testimony to the missionaries here in the mission.

After that we had to travel all night to get back here and arrived here at 4:00 a.m. But overall we had a good week. We were able to do some interviews for our zone and were able to have some baptisms this week.

My companion and I were able to baptise Junior. He is a member's brother we have been teaching and he decided to get baptized.  So that was cool!!

The ward here is helping us a lot and giving us a lot of names of people to teach.  We are able to get a lot of new people every week to teach, so that's nice,

Tonight we will be traveling again to another meeting with zone leaders in Salvador.  We will stay there until Wednesday, then return here on Thursday

Well, thats about it for the week, hope you all are doing well. Talk to you guys later.
